FAQ #217: What are "Stock and Resources" and can I use them in my submissions?
FAQ #157: Can I use things created by other people in my submissions?
you have amazing pictures and you're just gorgeous !!
May I use your pictures as pose reference for my art ? I'm trying to sell digital art as in custom orders or pre-made of art pieces that are only sold once (now that I think I reached a decent level ) so I was wondering if it's possible to use your pictures as pose reference and if there are any fees I'm supposed to pay ? and if so how much ?
What is your statement when it is used only as a reference for a pose in commercial work?
what about traditional art and the selling of an original piece?
If I use your stock in a commission for virtual currency that cannot be made into a real currency, do I need to pay you any royalty fee?
In an image kind of like this, may be more detailed though, like more of a portrait, etc.
Basically turning non human characters into humanoids. I was thinking about offering commissions for the ingame currency (can't be transferred into real money) for people who might be interested in this kind of artwork. This piece is of one of my personal characters.
Thank you for getting back to me!
Just google want "free stock photos" and stock companies that give free stock and where you have to purchase stock license will come up.
I bother you to ask for permission to use as Book Covers two of my works using your stocks.
I guess, it does not sell more than 100 books of each.
PS. Sorry for my bad english
Thanks for making such great stock!
Can I use one of your images for practice a tutorial of Halloween?
It will be for personal use only, not comercial. I'm learning how to use photoshop and your images of the girl in black dress are just perfect.
Sorry about my English.
I used one of your fantastic pictures in a creation I made with full credit back to your deviantart portfolio (at least it seems to link back to here).
I am trying to post the link to my facebook page but I cant include the link as the maibot here thinks it is spam.
Love all of your work.,
I'm curious about that cuz you have got perfect poses and things, I really really love and would love to practice, anatomy and poses with them.
I have a question. I just started a tumblr blog, or whatever it is called in English, and for years I have been using Deviant Art to create pictures with photo manipulation. Of course, I care a lot about creators' rights, and even if my knowledge about all this is limited, I'm almost sure I can't post something without its source and the authorization of the author/creator on tumblr. And I'd really like to use your pictures, that really are inspiring for me. So I'd like to know if you allow me to post your pictures on my Tumblr, with full credits of course. If I ever modify them, it will only be with quotes added, the kind of things we always find on Tumblr.
Anyway, thanks for sharing your work, it is truly amazing.
If yes then how much?
(sample of what I meant, this is free tho)
