FAQ #217: What are "Stock and Resources" and can I use them in my submissions?
FAQ #157: Can I use things created by other people in my submissions?
I would like to know, how I would go about paying you in the event - that I would like to purchase the image - that will be sold as an e-book only Book cover.
I don't have a website. I'd be happy to call you and discuss the details.

I have a question , I want to use your photos for references for my drawing , and I will credit you , I hope isn't a problem
And also I draw only traditional and sometimes digital , but I swear I will credit you if someone asks xD
I uploaded the following photomanip i produced from one of your stock images and
I've just been approached by a fellow deviant asking if it could be licensed for a book cover: see his message below (also seen on my comments page for the deviation):
....I am the publisher for a small, but growing, independent press. I'd love to get a non-exclusive license for the art to use as a bookcover background for a YA fantasy novel we will be publishing this summer. We publish in both print and ebook formats.
We work on a royalty basis: Cover artists get 5% of profits generated from each sale, paid monthly. I would note, that we are a small press, so it's not like we're selling thousands of copies of any of our titles. Nobody is getting rich, but everybody is getting paid.
Anyhoo, I love the image. Great job! Let me know if we can work something out.
Note: you can check out our other titles at www.wordcrafts.net
If you are happy for the image to be used I am more than happy to split the 5% profits from each sale with you, I'm not greedy, you can name your percentage although I thought 50/50 would be fair Or if there is a one of fee that Mike would have to pay please let me know.
Thanks for sharing your great stock, look forward to hearing from
Do you mind if people "frankenpose" parts of your stock with others' stock for pose reference? Like say making an abomination of Senshistock's legs with Daestock's torso and your arms, and someone else's face? Not for photomanips (and not uploaded in and of itself because trust me the result is a hilarious and horrifying monstrosity on its own, since it's just using the lasso tool and copy-paste) but for pose reference to get something closer to the exact reference we're looking for? I'll definitely link the picture to you and give credit for where I got all the pose references from, but I was wondering in general if the whole "frankenpose" thing is cool with you!
Like the post below I am traditional artist using oil paints and I would like to check that I can also use your poses in paintings. You can check my work out at www.satyademasson.com
I did some photomanipulation before and I want to try again now. However, if i like what I do, I woulf like to put it on society6 so that people can buy it as various goodies. How do you charge in that case, as the number of sell is going to depend on how much people like my work ?
thank you in advance.
I have a similar question as musamolona. I would like to use one of your images in an acrylic painting. Since my work is expressive it would be modified to some degree. Right now, it would be part of a series. However, it is possible that it could end up in an exhibition. And, even, someday be sold as a limited edition print or something like that. I can share a copy of my works in progress with you by private email if you like.
I'd love to see your work in progress
I love your stock photos. May I use some of them as reference for oil paintings? I'd post them on my blog and personal web. Maybe for some exhibition too.
if I eventually sell one of my paintings (never happened so far), how much should I pay you?
Thank you in advance and keep up the good work!
