This reminds me of the stone the Saxons used in a torture technique, which entailed them cutting open the abdomen of the prisoner, tied the end of their entrails to a nail in the side of the pillar, and forcing them to walk around the pillar, essentially pulling their own entrails from their bodies. Very painful I would imagine. I could be wrong about the Saxons. I type under possible correction lol
