This is, I think, one of the most striking pieces of artwork that I have seen on Deviantart. I literally can't get the image out of my head. It evokes any number of emotions and storylines, just by it's simplicity. This is definitely a case of less being more. Much much more. The stark contrast of the black and red against the models fair skin is breathtaking. The model is obviously partially nude, but nothing is overtly sexual about this, instead bringing to mind a subtle beauty and a stunning sense of romance.
In my humble opinion, it is quite simply, a masterpiece.

Such an elegant piece, the deep red in the photograph contrasts so well with the pale skin and the dark shadows. There is a strong sense of chiaroscuro that draws the eye to all the tiny crevices in the image. The figure is accentuated with the use of the satin cloth which hugs the model defining her shape.

I was drawn to this image because of its strong use of red, i think it makes it quite a romantic image. Though the model seems to be naked it is not a suggestive photograph, which is good because it has a subtle allure. The skin has the same sheen as the satin and makes the image very luxurious.
