FAQ #217: What are "Stock Photos" and can I use "Stock Photos" in my submissions?

Visually, this is excellent. I love how the softness of the dress contrasts with the coarseness of the sand, while at the same time blending into it. The color tone of the sunrise/set compliments beautifully the blonde hair (is that a wig?). The position of the camera lines up the ocean outline to point the eye at her face and body.

I think the scene has more potential for her pose. There's a lot of dramatic opportunity that's going unused. I think you could have exploited the blending of her dress with the sand a bit more. You could do some depth of field tricks to make it seem like she was rising out of the sand, or melting into it, for example.

I'd love to see a shoot with her, in this dress, crawling out of the water.

Hey there, I'm not used to seeing you as a blonde.

Overall this image is great! I particularly liked how you were able to capture the sunlight rising or setting as the case may be. I liked the general pose my only criticism there (constructively) is the hands seemed a little unnaturally placed... but all and all awesome on that part to. The only other thing that distracted me and keep in mind I'm not an expert photographer ... is that the ocean in the background is fuzzy... I think that is due focus on the model... but it distracted me a little bit... mainly as the ocean is a good large segment of the image (rightly so)...

Those two minor and I mean minor things that I saw, because frankly I love the work

Great job.
